Attention KFIA Members!
KFIA recently developed Emerging Leaders Program to offer members an opportunity to fine-tune their leadership skills and become a better spokesperson for forestry in Kentucky. We are focusing on the under 40 age group in hopes of attracting the next generation.
This program is designed to:
• Get members involved in outreach efforts to improve the public perception of the forest industry.
• Improve involvement of young people and provide an opportunity to meet and network with their peers and future leaders in the industry; people they will likely be working with for the next several decades.
• Meet with important forestry partners in the state of Kentucky and learn about legislative involvement and programs that benefit the wood products industry.
If you are interested in this program ACT FAST! It is limited to 20 participants.
