KFIA Annual Meeting
April 1-3, 2025
Hilton Lexington/Downtown-Lexington, KY

Join us at the 60th Annual Meeting of the Kentucky Forest Industries Association, (KFIA), will be held at the Hilton Lexington/Downtown in Lexington, Kentucky on April 1, 2 & 3, 2025. The theme of the meeting will be It Starts with a Seed - Celebrating 60 Years. Our industry has been through some challenging times and through it all KFIA always continues to work with many partners to address the issues that are facing our members and the hardwood industry. KFIA has been a voice for our membership for 60 years and due to the continued support, we will remain as ready to assist when and where we are needed.

On the agenda for our 60th anniversary meeting will be updates on a wide range of initiatives that have been established to help with both workforce development and market promotion and a number of speakers discussing partnerships that will continue to help the hardwood industry. With the change in administration at the national level we will also be discussing positive change and legislative action taking place at both the state and national level. The meeting will also feature a number of activities including a Welcome Reception for early arrivals and a golf outing on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday mornings will include speakers on topics of importance to the industry.

We strongly encourage members to make your reservations as soon as possible. We have increased the number of rooms in our block for this year, but reservations need to be made by March 01, 2025, to obtain our convention rate of $159.00 plus tax per night in order to get in the room block for the meeting.

University Club of Kentucky - Lexington, KY

Plan now to participate in the John C. Smith Memorial Golf Scramble to be held Tuesday, April 1 at the University Club of Kentucky Golf Course (4850 Leestown Rd, Lexington, KY). There is no better way to kick off the KFIA Annual Meeting than with a golf scramble. Please plan to arrive at 8:00 a.m. (EST) for registration and to get instructions and tee time will be at 8:30 a.m. Anyone with an interest in the game is invited to play regardless of skill level. Players have the option of being placed on a team or putting together a foursome. Efforts will be made to accommodate all requests and those wanting to play together. The scramble is open to all members, exhibitors and friends of KFIA. The cost to play will be $80 per person. Registration will cover cash prizes for first and second place teams, longest drive, and closest to the pin. Mulligans will be sold on site for extra shots.

Hole Sponsors are also being solicited for the event. Show your support of KFIA by becoming a sponsor for this event. All sponsors will be recognized at the golf outing, in the meeting program, in the KFIA "Link" Newsletter, and in any other materials related to the Annual Meeting and golf scramble.
